Day 1: Transfer with LM Holiday guide from the hotel in the morning to Aswan. The first stop will be Edfu, where we will visit the temple of the god Horus. Construction of the temple on the site of an older temple from the time of the New Kingdom began in 237 BC by Ptolemy III, and was completed around 60 BC during the reign of Ptolemy XII. It is currently one of the best-preserved Egyptian church buildings from this period and is the second largest of the preserved temples in Egypt. Then we continue to Aswan for lunch. After lunch, the program will visit the temple of the goddess Isis and the goddess Hathour, which was moved due to the floods of Niles. Today, the temple stands in a new place with a magnificent view. At the end we stay in a 4 * hotel, dinner, free program.
Day 2: In the morning departure to Abu Simbel with a visit to the temple of Ramses II and the temple of his wife Queen Nefertari. Then move back to Aswan, where we will go to see the dam. It is the largest dam in Egypt, which is also called the last pyramid. Lunch is followed by a trip to Kom Omba and a visit to the temple of the gods Sobekah and Houros. This temple is located directly on the Nile and in the past served as a hospital, on the walls we can see the remains of prescriptions and medical machines. In the evening return to the hotel in destination.
